Dr. Tolchin graduated from The New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Tolchin completed several internships during her time there. One being at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain the other at Hanscom Air Force base. She diagnosed and treated patients with Diabetes, Glaucoma, and Cataracts. At the Air Force base she also treated children who presented with conditions such as Amblyopia and other visual and ocular disorders. Our new location on 44 Pleasant St. is well suited to fulfill the needs of our patients, with a more private office, and more space for a larger gallery of eyeglass frames. We are now able to offer over 500 frames in house including sunglasses all in a wide variety of styles, prices, and designer names. Dr. Tolchin performs very thorough eye exams that are never rushed, she explains everything and educates her patients about the findings. Dr. Tolchin also specializes in prescribing and fitting patients of all ages with contact lenses.
