tripadvisorHouston is huge and busy with tons of hotels. This was night three on a cross-country trip and I stayed in the area to catch an Astros game. This property was adjacent to a highway with loads of restaurants/stores nearby. The property was fine, nothing that blows you away, but just a reliable Hampton Inn that served its purpose.
MoreI came to Houston to attend a wedding and this HI was suggested. It was convenient to the airport and highway necessary to participate in the wedding activities. The room was well maintained, the bed was comfortable and the breakfasts were well stocked. The staff was helpful and professional.
MoreEntry gate? No Breakfast?Simple review for simply dissatisfying customer service by entire Front office Staff. I do not believe they understand how to compromise with their guests. i will never consider booking at this place again.
More11/13-This place was an absolute disgrace. I will post pictures of the mold in the bathtub and the black on the walls. It was disgusting and a health hazard. I assume they were trying to do some sort of renovation, but they did not make me aware of it and they charged me full price for a room that had black on the walls, mold in the bathroom, no closet doors, tiles pulled off of the bathroom around the tub and walls, which again showed mold.I went to the front desk several times and asked for manager, but conveniently there was never a manager around. The people working the front desk did not offer to switch my room, they did nothing to offer to help me. The front desk told me to write an email to the main headquarters and somebody would get back to me immediately. Well it’s been three days and nobody’s gotten back to me.If I had the money to go to a different hotel, I would’ve done it but unfortunately all my money was tied up in this Hampton Inn, so I was stuck there and had no other place to go.This place is a Health hazard and absolutely disgusting. And as much as I’ve sent emails and tried to speak to managers, I’m guessing no one will ever get back to me. This place is pathetic.11/20- no one returned my calls or responded to my emails. I finally got a hold of Teddy. Apparently Teddy is the manager of the hotel and Teddy reports to no one. You cannot go any higher than Teddy, even though he’s not the owner of the Hampton Inn he reports to no one so you can’t go any higher than Teddy. Teddy told me the walls as you saw in my pictures that’s part of the paint and the way the walls are painted some people mistake it for dirt but that’s actually paint. You look at my pictures and be the judge . He told me there was nothing he could do to help me no refunds, he could give me some points, but the points really wouldn’t be worth anything. He wasn’t willing to listen to me, he kept telling me I was raising my voice which I wasn’t yelling , but I was annoyed. This place is pathetic. Their management is horrible. The mold in the room is definitely a problem so if you have any type of asthma issues or allergies to mold,, stay as far away from this hotel as you can.
More1 star service. I’ve worked with Hilton for 4 years and this was my first time booking a friends and family rate and also my first time where customer service meant nothing to a company. My dissatisfaction comes from quality of service towards employees in their own brand.i am a Hilton employee I made a mistake booking a reservation for a friend under a friends and family rate. Once I was aware, I tried making it right by cancelling and having my friend make his own reservation but was given no options but to be charged a cancellation fee. The manager also made it seem like I was twisting his arm in order to make it right for me. I’m glad my friend found another hotel (which he booked himself)-he mentioned that as he pulled in he couldn’t access the hotel unless he had a code… and on top of that no free breakfast as stated on the website. All of this and they still could not offer ANY good customer. Shameful service.
