We went to an Alice in wonderland theme cocktail party. It was cute. But not much fun. We thought we would be able to see more of the house but we're confined to the front 2 rooms. Our saving grace was the always charming historian, Robert Trudeau. He made it up to us with a midnight tour of Oakland cemetery.

We fell in love with Logan Mansion after attending an event featuring a delicious, cooked-from-scratch dinner and an evening of ghostly stories as shared by both guests and staff. My daughter and I stayed overnight in a beautiful suite featuring a delightfully comfortable bed with lovely linens. The period furniture and suite decor contributed to a restful visit with friends at the close of the event. The bathroom en suite is a treat…separate clawfoot tub (a real beauty) and a magnificent shower (quite big enough for two if you’re with a partner)…hot water for days…a refreshment center with water, soda, crackers, yogurt and more…custom draperies. We heard no city noise during the night and slept like babies. Breakfast was enjoyed at our leisure as prepared by our thoughtful hostess, Lisa. Lisa and her whole staff were incredibly welcoming, sharing both conversoation and friendship.I look forward to the next event at Logan Mansion and the opportunity for another overnight stay.

I was so excited because it was historic place. But it was one of the dustiest and noisy place I be ever stayed at. Lisa the host never mentioned that there was a train track and it blew its horn every hour. We had a baby with us which she knew and didn’t tell us about the noiseThe worst part of it all was her condescending manner. They ran out of drinking water and I asked for more they only had two small bottles left. The staff said she had to go out to get more. It was 10pm so told her that’s ok. Then asked to have more in the morning. They still didn’t have it in morning so I said that’s ok and left.Lisa later that they left me a long message saying how she traveled the world and always knew what she needed. That it was my fault for not knowing. She then continued to say that her staff went above and beyond. I told her above and beyond is already having water and getting more of it before telling someone that they don’t have it.I’ve never stayed in a place where they ran out of water. Also it was way dirtier and worn then the photos. Lisa, before you give advice to others you should know that your place is nothing like the photos

The owners are so gracious and take you through the entire house telling you about the History. About the ghost. This is a must see place
