tripadvisorI love making the drive up to Prescott and this plaza has a lot to do with that. Located in the heart of the town, right off of Whiskey Row, Bashford Courts has two of my favorite things - Prescott Brewing with some of the best food & also their Olive Oil shop inside. The plaza is centrally located with the friendliest people and cleanist amenities. There is plenty do to inside if you’re waiting for a table or meeting up with a friend. Soaps, socks & lots of personalized gifts to take back with. I’d recommend this plaza as a “must see” when visiting Prescott. Thank you Bashford Courts!
MoreBashford Courts is such a great place to shop and eat and the beautiful view of the square cannot be beat! I stop in every time I go to Prescott. I recommend everyone check this place out for cute shopping and great local fare!
MoreMy fiance and I visited Prescott last weekend and spent most of our time in the Courthouse Square in downtown Prescott. The area has a ton of great shops and dinning options and it was nice to get out of the heat of Phoenix and stroll around the area. The highlight downtown was definitely Bashford Courts! We had an excelent lunch at Prescott Brewing Company inside the Bashford and then spent a couple hours strolling through the different shops that encompass the building. We purchased some amazing chocolates from Pralines of Prescott and also bought some Olive Oil as gifts for family at Olive U. Lastly, my fiance got a new outfit from Wild Daisy, which is a really cute boutique inside Bashford Courts. If you are looking for a great place to spend an afternoon with your family and are in Prescott, I would 100% recommend taking them to Bashford Courts!
MoreIn its heyday, this mega-store had it all, sold it all, and now it has been reincarnated into a 3-story indoor mall. Back in the 1900's, shoppers would come here to buy beef, canned goods, milk, clothing, go to the beauty shop, buy hardware, shoies, furniture, and dishes ... in addition to those soups and nuts (and mining equipment). In hung in there for a while before going nearly bankrupt in 1941; it was sold in the nick of time. Changing tastes and needs over a few decades led to its demise. Today the anchor business is that great Brew Pub on the first floor; the food is awesome and the ambiance is so perfect. On the upper floors are some art galleries and other stores. The original Bashford-Burmister Building is divided into 2 different and distinct malls (the other is Capitol Mall just a few doors down). The building is an historic treasure.
