A friend visiting was in need of some legal forms, low and behold the library. had just what she needed! The ladies were very patient and helpful. Truly proud of our little library and the staff. Thanks for your help.

I have a vacation home about 12 miles north of the city limits, and often stop here during weekly visits to town. There's free Wi-Fi, and guest passes to use the computers. It has a surprisingly wide selection of titles on some unusual subjects, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a large facility just up the hill from Courthouse Square. There's 2 hour parking in the not-so-large lot, but plenty of street parking nearby. Worth a visit if you're enjoying other activities around the downtown area.

I used to love this library and I've known some of the staff members or did know some of the staff members for many years, a few retired and others moved on.. I won't mention names here but there's a couple of ladies that work in this building who should not be in customer service whatsoever! When I phone they make it so that it's a complete inconvenience for what I'm asking and they try and give you some speech which makes you feel even more guilty about asking what you're asking for to begin with. Two of these female staff members are very very unprofessional and in my opinion should not be in customer service at all. It's s certainly changed the vibe of a place that I used to enjoy going to and sadly dislike immensely now. This is not a reflection on the other staff members there or the building itself but in my opinion the approach could be completely opposite and it's not that difficult to make someone feel welcomed on the phone opposed to treating you like a piece of garbage.

This place is fun to visit, just to walk around the outside. They have a wonderful mountain lion sculpture on the wall outside the front door -- which is also guarded by a wonderful iguana sculpture lounging with a book. On the sidewalk and steps along the front side is a very, very detailed timeline (in the concrete) going back forever. Their idea of time travel.Nice library; very accommodating for reserving and picking up books, cd's, dvd's, etc.

My wife and I found this library o be excellent. Easy to find what we are looking for, easy to use online holds, clean, helpful staff. As a former Friend of the Library we can say they do a wonderful job of providing and maintaining this facility.
