MoreThe El Vado Motel was a breath of fresh air and a walk through history all in one beautifully restored motel. Located on the corner of Central and Route 66, the El Vado greeted us with a 4-piece blues band playing in the courtyard on a perfect evening. I hesitate to recommend you stay here because I don't want to see the no vacancy light lite on my next trip to Albuquerque. Seriously, it's a cool place to stay and beautifully done!!
MoreLoved, loved, loved our stay. Our room was spacious and full of charm. Enjoyed sitting in the courtyard by the pool with a cold cider from the Tap Room. Had a DELICIOUS meal at Buen Provecho Barelas, the on-site restaurant. Looking forward to returning to El Vado on our next trip to Albuquerque.
MoreMy wifeish and I loved our stay! It was super hot, but we enjoyed a dip in the pool. After cleaning up we enjoyed our complementary drinks at the bar and had a nice convo with the bartender/front desk personnel. We look forward to coming back again and hopefully stay a little longer.
MoreConvenient to everything, especially the Botanical Gardens! Great coffee in the office. I felt safe as a solo traveler and appreciate the great service from staff.
