Where Heart & Intellect Intersect In Christ. Monte Vista Christian Church celebrates the privilege of serving Christ's ministry in the Nob Hill neighborhood, greater Albuquerque community, and the world. We are an Open and Affirming congregation that seeks to overcome all barriers that separate God's children from God and each other, be it race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, age, physical or mental ability, education, socioeconomic status, or cultural background. We seek the sacred in shared worship and in our own lives. We encourage intellectual diversity and freedom of scriptural interpretation. We embrace authentic opportunities to serve all in need. We welcome and invite all who will join us in our spiritual journey. Monte Vista seeks to be an inclusive, loving fellowship of people. Fellowship Events are held regularly for the purpose of coming to know one another. Roadrunners are a seniors group which meets every month on the 2nd Tuesday. We have an active youth group meeting on Sunday afternoons. Faith Journey meets for prayer and study on Tuesdays. Monte Vista has been a long-time supporter of Samaritan Counseling Center. Monte Vista is also involved in Habitat for Humanity of Valencia County.
