tripadvisorI wanted to share my experience because I think it’s important for others to know what to expect.I received a notification advising me to arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete paperwork, so I came even earlier to ensure I had plenty of time. However, when I arrived, there was no paperwork to fill out.Since I was early, I asked if I could use the sauna before my 2:00 pm appointment. I was told that everything was fully booked and that access is included within specific timed packages only. That was disappointing. When I think of a “day spa,” I expect more of an experience — a place to unwind before and after services. Many spas offer seating areas, quiet relaxation rooms, tea, light snacks, or open sauna access before your appointment begins. Unfortunately, there was no designated relaxation space, very limited seating, and it felt quite crowded. It felt more like arriving for a single service and leaving immediately afterward, rather than a full spa experience. Additionally, if you purchase a tub package, your allotted time includes sauna access, rather than offering flexible pre-appointment access. That structure makes the experience feel very transactional. In comparison, spas like Ojo, Hotel Chaco, and others in the area provide a more immersive, relaxing environment where you can truly enjoy the space before your treatment begins. If you’re looking strictly for individual services, this may work well for you. But if you’re expecting a full “day spa” experience with amenities and relaxation time, you may want to clarify what’s included ahead of time.
MoreMy mom, a great friend and myself scheduled a hot tub soak today. The staff was professional and pleasant. The experience was truly relaxing in a paradise in the North valley. Highly recommend it.
Moreso disappointed almost a week and a half later my face is still hurting. I went in for the 30-minute facial with high frequency. I called in to speak to Alexandria but got a voicemail from the front counter I told them my face was in pain. I was told to get a cold compress which did nothing . I have tried a cooling aloe , tried an oatmeal soak and nothing has helped how bad my face hurts . The first few days it was so red . My face is still in pain . I am waiting to be able to see a dermatologist because I do not know what exactly was done to my face to alleviate the burning .
MoreI had been given a gift certificate for a 90 minute blissful massage, and I can tell you that it was indeed blissful. It was my first time, and I will return. My therapist was Alicia, who listened to my needs and made sure that everything she was doing was to my liking. I was also appreciative that their gift certificates are good for five years. Too many of them are only good for a year or less.
MoreAs a birthday treat to myself, I booked the firming facial at Betty's. I was teamed with Kelley who gave a GREAT facial. I was very appreciative that she wore a mask. The extractions were not painful and the shoulder and neck massage was great. I will be returning and will definitely ask for Kelley.
