We were on a driving tour through TX and NM, and stopped to visit a friend, the new pastor of San Ignacio. This church is over 100 yrs old, has not had a full-time pastor for over 20 yrs, but the parish is strong. We didn't know what to expect, but friends are friends. Easy to get from Highway 25. The church is huge on the outside, but inside kinda cozy. The parishioners are older, but many younger tourists because of the beautiful building and front entrance statuary; full band of musicians and choir; the service celebrated in English, Latin, and Spanish; Friendly, friendly parishioners welcomed each and everyone of us. Daily Mass (don't remember hours) Sunday has two services: 9:30, and later a visiting priest performs a totally Latin mass. Wish I could have seen that, but we were racing snow storms back to AZ.. Stop in and see it, worship or not, but light a few candles and leave a few bucks, you won't regret it. The peace will stay with you all day.
