Highly recommend going to Old Town - vendors and artists on the square. Good food and drinks as well.

Strolled the streets on a Sunday afternoon. This is a happening place! A Mariachi Band was performing at the square. Many people had spread blankets on the lawn to enjoy the show. Lots of souped up, decked out, antique cars are cruising the square or parked along the street. The owners all seemed happy to talk to you about their car. Lots of shops for art, trinkets, and souvenirs. There are pubs, breweries and wineries also lots of places for food, and treats.

Old Town is perfectly safe. The shop owners are all lovely and the food places are delicious. Try some wine and do a lot of shopping. You won't regret stopping.

It’s a nice little town with tons of shops, nice place to walk around. Just beware. We were approached by an African American couple in their early 40s after I used the bathroom. They were very intimidating and basically accused me of finding her lost ring in the bathroom and taking it. They were persistent and said did you find it under the sink counter. Thankfully my husband was with me. I told them no, I didn’t look down there, just washed my hands and left. We stopped for a drink and they were still hanging around when we came out to leave. It was only later when I was telling my daughters about it and they pulled it up online. It’s a scam trying to extort money or peoples own jewelry from you. Beware.
