tripadvisor8 of us went and most had the hamburger. Very good. Enjoyed by all. Took my husband back and he liked the food. We have been back several times.
MoreAll of the food I've tried here has been pretty good. Rotisserie wings are my favorite and I've heard the fish and chips are awesome as well. They have a great beer selection too. Would appeal to many different people and tastes
MoreWaited 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and nothing. Finally went up to the bar and the staff just looked at us several times till they acknowledged us and took our order. This is our usual spot for good sandwiches. But tonight was inexcusable, drove half way across town because we enjoy the food. To be met with this kind of service and to only be acknowledged when we finally get up and leave is sad. McDonald's gives better customer service then what we encountered tonight.
MoreSeat yourself was a bit odd. First of all they need some additional waiters/waitresses. 15 minutes to be noticed that we sat down. Another 15 minutes to get a menu. And another 5 to place our order. Best not to actually be hungry when you walk in. Bring your own candy bar appetizer or something. Service is obviously not about the customer. Tried the Olde English fish and chips. And we got exactly what we ordered... old fish and chips. Oh, and an order of old onion rings. You know how food tastes when it's been frozen for like a really really long time? Chips/wedge potatoes had no flavor and no discernible physical structure having effectively disintegrated inside a pre-cooked shell. The two huge portions of mystery fish, perhaps cod? at one time, were tough and tasteless. And Chef or should I say cook--giving customers large portions doesn't compensate for lousy food. I would have paid more, for less food, had it been good quality. But how can you go wrong with onion rings? The same way, start with pre-made frozen out-of-the-bag stuff, keep it a long time, thaw it fast and there you go! Coleslaw looked great. Tasted like mayonnaise. And I think I'm going to simply start asking that waiters/waitresses drench the outside of my drink glasses so my hands becomes terminally sticky before I've even place my order. Stop overfilling the glasses! Pretentious menu. However, it could be good if they would prepare it correctly using fresh food. One of those places where not one of the items in the dish had redeeming qualities. I give the fish 2 out of 10, chips 1 out of 10, onion rings 3 out of 10, coleslaw 3 out of 10, pouring drinks 2 out of 10, service 3 out of 10, bar 6 out of 10, and atmosphere 7 out of 10. Lots of TV screens! Great looking sports bar. But if you dine here, well, avoid it.
