This is a walking trail into the hills. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time and only walked a very short distance on this trail. The part we walked was easy and flat. Not sure if it was like that the entire trail or not. There are also picnic tables in this area as well. We would have liked to have time to stay longer.

Peace and quiet with a spectacular sunset. Visit can be as long or as short as you want, I was there for half an hour, with a gentle walk and then sitting on a bench

Great park to enjoy a hike or your mountain bike. We spent a part of a morning enjoying the hikes and had an excellent time. It was not too busy, although it was during Balloon Fiesta.

It's pristine! But not for long! CABQ is ready to build in this open space! Search Save Elena Gallegos for details of the plan the city Parks & Rec division have that break the restrictive covenants that exist to keep this OPEN SPACE the way it is! Seems we need to protect FROM the city!

A beautiful treasure outside of Albuquerque. A nice selection of trails that lead you up towards the Sandia mountains. Beautiful scenery and you can make the trip however long or short you would like. They only charged us a dollar to get in which seems incredibly cheap for such a wonderful place. Nice even smooth walking trail – would definitely recommend
