Made reservation weeks in advance with request for top floor, as far away from elevator as possible and no pets by my room. Arrived on Tuesday, Nov. 25about 3:00pm. Was given room 205. I ask why not a top, 3rd floor room as requested. I was told hotel was totally booked and that was what was available. That was an outright lie! I wanted top floor to stop pounding of foot steps and other noises above me. The day after they gave room to somebody above me with a toddler that kept running back and forth across the room and making other kinds of banging noises. This started about 9;30pm. It woke my wife up, who has heslth issues. I contact front desk and they said they went to the room, that is how we found out there was a toddler there, Agrnt ask them to be quiet or they could move then to another. Agent said they were moving to another room. It got quiet about 10:30pm. Next day they were back above us. Same thing started making it impossible to sleep. My wife was up at 2:30am from the running noise of footsteps pounding through the ceiling. On top of that a dog was placed in a room near us that was barking for a while. Room itself had issues. Elrcgtrical outlet between queen beds was totally worn out. You could not plug in 110v plug as it just feel out. Same for USB port making them unusable. TV was very difficult to operate. Nip printed TV guide for reference. Guide on TV gives you channel numbers but no details of what is on the channel, just gives you numbers. Then, once you get a channel you have to scroll up and down to see what the channel is. After scrolling through several channels another guide shows up with details about 10 channels you you are on. Y the time you find the show you want it is over with. One chair in our suite was very worn on arms. No tears but very dirty and obviously worn from use. Needs to be replaced or steamed cleaned. Breakfast was mediocre. Scrambled eggs OK. Sausage patties were hard and.very dry. Best thing was the yogurt. Fried potatoes with some added spice was barely warm. Coffee is not at breakfast buffet but out side breakfast area as well as condiments for coffee. It was not a pleasant, comfortable, quite stay. I have stayed there numerous times in the past visiting family in the area. Was good stays but obviously is going down hill. On second floor by elevated was candy wrappers on floor and either a large piece of hard mud or dog poop that was by the door for 3 days. Next time Best Western Plus will not be on my list to stay at. Hilton Home2 suites I have stayed at several times is very much better and accommodating to paying customers. Better breakfast, fulfilled my requests with no problems. The reason I always ask for a top floor and away from elevator was to stop the.above issues. I never saw over 10 cars in the parking lot at BW which told me hotel was not totally booked. I would fire the individual who lied to me or maybe that is the kind of individuals they hire. When leaving told agent a desk about our issues and she said she would call the manager to see if we could get some kind of rebate on our fees for such a miserable stay. The answer was-no. I would not recommend this hotel as a top choice to consider staying at unless you do not mind inconvienced and paying for them.

Carter at the front desk was great. He was very helpful in several areas. I stayed in a handicapped room, 102. It was a very nice, large room, but it had several drawbacks that made the stay uncomfortable. First, one of the lamps next to the bed on my girlfriend's side did not work. Carter replaced the bulb, but still nothing. It appears there is faulty wiring in the lamp. However, the outlet plugs worked.Next, I use a CPAP machine to help me breathe at night. I plugged my machine into the outlet on my side of the bed and there was no electricity in either outlet, nor did the light work. Come to find out this lamp and outlets are controlled by one of the light switches at the entrance to the door. Here's the problem: this light switch also turned on all the overhead can lights in the entire room. So, in order to have my lamp outlets work, I had to have the overhead lights on. A double edged sword to say the least. How are you suppose to sleep with all the overhead lights on???? Who on earth would hook up a lamp and outlets to a light switch that also turned on the overhead lights?Next, one of the arms on the fabric chair had a dirt stain on it. The wall mounted thermostat did not work; had to go to the AC unit to control the temp. It cooled the room well. Why have a wall mounted thermostat if it doesn't work? The TV remote was the most confusing thing I've ever used. Carter had to come down and show me how to use it and then even he didn't know how to do some things.Last and maybe most concerning:: as i sat on the bed packing for departure, a small powdery white bug crawled across my leg. I immediately killed it and could not get a picture of it. I wondered if I slept with that thing in the bed both nights and if he had any friends that I did not see. The room needs to be fumigated or something done to ensure they are eradicated.

Dogs, dogs, dogs - “not-a-poodle” with a lady, but an entire kennel of dogs on floor 2 in several different rooms. Dog owners out to enjoy dinner. The real problem is that management just disappears (perhaps it never existed). We had to move across the street to the Marriott-at our “expense” of course. Management does NOT respond. Hello? Hello?

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Christian and Sofia for going above and beyond to help us locate our daughters migraine mask. Our six year old suffers from terrible migraines and uses an eye cover type mask and in our hurry to check out I left it behind. I immediately called Best Western and spoke to Christian he went above and beyond with Sofia to try to locate the mask. In a world filled with so much disarray there is still hope of true genuine people that are willing to help a stranger. The hotel was great as well, the rooms were very clean and spacious, the beds and pillow were all so comfortable. The breakfast was great with many different options to choose from. Again if you’re planning on staying in Pflugerville please give this hotel your business. A very Thankful mom!
