We chose this hotel because of its convenient location and based on past visits that we enjoyed. I have to say we were disappointed. The place just seems to be run down. We booked a deluxe one bedroom studio, which was quite spacious. However, the furnishings were shabby. The king bed was very comfy. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious and there were multiple options. They also offered homemade iceCreams each day made by Taos Cow which were all very yummy. Overall it was a pretty good visit but they could stand to invest in some more updated furnishings and freshen the place up because it isNot inexpensive.

While the staff was very friendly, this was a very disappointing stay for us. We booked the largest casita and the pictures on the website made it seem very nice. Unfortunately, this was very misleading as the room was old, not updated, the bathroom was smal and very outdated. They didn't have a closet, just a hanging rack in the middle of the room. It was not kept up at all and we checked out early since we didn't not like it.

Lovely place. We were placed in what I would call a casita or cabana, lots of room, parked in front, very clean, great amenities, including glass glasses, always a plus. It was located across a side street and easy walk from the check-in/main building, where breakfast was served, including cooked southwest options. Staff was very helpful for our first visit to Sante Fe, especially recommendations for Tomasita's and the Plaza Cafe downtown. Easy walking to the Plaza area. Be sure to visit the state capitol, an art gallery of its own! Great place, stay here!

I have never experienced anything like this in my extended travels and 50+ visits to Santa Fe where I have stayed in bed and breakfast’s for years. I have never stayed at Las Palomas. I searched for days for a special place to stay as I was planning a personal retreat which included staying in a bed and breakfast. I arrived very late as my flight was delayed. Upon walking towards my room, it looked dirty and run down on the exterior. When I entered, I was in shock. The photos on the site were nothing like what I saw. There was mold on the ceiling above the bathtub, hardly any light in the entire suite, the “fireplace” was a tiny low level free standing oven-like structure. There were no water bottles the room. The door did not feel secure to me. It felt like I was in someone’s garage, sparsely furnished with old furniture. The next morning, I expressed my concern to the staff and they said “next time, ask for the historic part of the building”. I am not one to complain. I walked away confused. The pictures looked historic and the suite I chose looked nothing like what I was in. That evening I noticed the toilet was running, the air conditioning rattled and there was no ironing board. I also noticed no one has cleaned the room after my first day. The next day I expressed to the staff all of the above and was told I should have requested the cleaning? Then I was told, oh you’re checking out tomorrow…what do you need cleaned? I said there are towels in the bathtub that are used, a knife in the cutlery that has dried rice and other food on it from a previous guest. The staff said we’ll have someone come in. When I returned that evening nothing had been touched. I was so stunned by this and felt completely taken advantage of at $1200 for four nights. I would warn anyone away from this bed and breakfast.

La Paloma is one of the more popular restaurants in Santa Fe. The food is very good and the service is excellent. If I have any criticism of La Paloma it is that Circus very crowded; the tables are fairly close together and it can get noisy. Other than that , if you don’t mind a little noise I would recommend it.
