Carole LaRoache has painted her warriors and wolves and shamans for years and they still continue to mesmerize one. They are beautiful, full of life and color and yet amazingly calming and empathetic.

Enjoy a chat with the staff operating the gallery. Photos are welcome. Most of the work is by the elder LaRoche who paints. There are other artists represented in the gallery. Stroll through the sculpture garden too.

´Tis a glorious Autumn day with abundant sun and mid- sixties temperatures. At Carole Laroche Gallery, we find Deer Shaman, Bronze, Open Fountains, and a nice brick patio. We highly recommend a visit to Carole Laroche Gallery and at least a day on Canyon Road.

We love this gallery. The artist is quite talented painting wolves and Native American faces in a fun manner. There are some other works in the gallery to enjoy. Don’t miss the downstairs area, where you can see more of Laroche’s work. In addition, the gallery has expanded to an outside area showing bronze works. Very pleasant staff to chat with and photos are allowed.

We always stop in the Laroche Gallery on our visits to Santa Fe. We love the dog art which appears so simple but the colors in the pieces and the eyes of the animals are very expressive. TH paintings make you happy! Carol Laroche was in the gallery the day we visited and it was wonderful to meet and visit with her. She was celebrating the 35th year of her gallery being on Canyon Road. It was delightful to talk with her; she is very down to earth and took a lot of time talking with us. What a treat for us!
