Loved it. They actually make all the inlays right behind the store. 11 employees. All the different materials are explained. They cut and polish. And are perfectionists. Amazing. We spent 1.5 hours here. A highlight if you want a beautiful knife. Cha Cha at the front is delightful.

Wonderful experience!! We have been buying with them on-line for 25 years and finally was able to visit. Rose and Jamie were wonderful and got a great tour of the facility. Amazing work and a visit that was the highlight to my trip to Santa Fe. Beautiful handmade inlaid work that is top quality. It was so hard to decide on what to buy!!! Settled on the steak knives and several pocket knives.

I wish there was a way to give more than 5 stars to an establishment. This place deserves at least 10. Totally incredible experience. My son and I visited here on a Tuesday morning to purchase a souvenir gift for our vacation trip to Santa Fe and we were not disappointed. Jamie, the lady that we dealt with the most, is what made this such an incredible experience. She is awesome. There is so much I could share but for the sake of conservation of bandwidth and brevity I will stick with the big stuff. Firstly, Jamie, the lady that greeted us, absolutely did not put any pressure on us at all to purchase some of the more expensive knives that was available. She took her time and explained what each knife was made of, from the cheapest knives to the most expensive. You could tell she was not interested in anything other than what we wanted. After I explained to her that I was looking forward to bringing my son here on vacation so he could purchase a nice pocket knife for his early graduation gift, she actually invited us back to the factory part of the store. After realizing that most of the workers had left for the day, she invited us back Wednesday morning. Needless to say, we were there bright and early at 7:30. By 8:00 all workers had everything up and going and that's when Jamie allowed us to view the amazing process that some incredible people do to turn stones and other materials, into beautiful pieces of work. Absolutely amazing experience. Jamie also gave us some pieces of stone that was left over from the manufacturing process. My son will always have these as a reminder of our trip to New Mexico. He also has a beautiful woolly mammoth tooth pocket knife. If you find yourself in the Santa Fe area, you must visit this place. Thank you Jamie and everyone at Santa Fe Stoneworks. You have given me and my son some beautiful memories that we will cherish for a long time.

My partner was looking for a gift for me and found the knives and some of the kitchen items to appear to be off exceptional quality, though of matching higher price level. She decribed the items as looking like fine art for practical use. She said the staff seemed helpful. Because of the price level she sent me there, but the sign on the door said to call for an appt. that day so I didn't get a chance to visit.

I tried hard to like this place. The lady said she liked my name. Many compliments but it felt too fake (like other reviews seem fake). Maybe they were being nice. Some products from China I think so I left.
