Though we didn't have a chance to buy anything, this store made me want to linger. It is cheerful and appealing to the eye. Pleasant staff and a great selection of books. Maybe my Hiraeth-Deep Longing can find its way to their shelves someday.

Fabulous ghost tour guided by Keily, from the very start Keily was engaging and drew us into her storytelling. Would definitely recommend her tours to anyone visiting the city

We had the pleasure of taking the ghost tour with Joe, our knowledgeable and entertaining guide. His delivery and enthusiasm were excellent. The tour lasted about 90 minutes, and we were on the last tour of the evening. The city has an entirely different feel after the shops have closed, which added to the overall experience. If you take this tour, be prepared to walk over uneven surfaces in the dark, and bring water. Joe made the tour exciting and his delivery was captivating. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in some of the darker (but not scary or creepy) history of Charleston.

A treasure for book lovers, this shop was one of my favorite stops in Charleston. My family was welcomed immediately upon walking in. They have a cute children's and teen area. I love the mystery date with a book options! I settled on a signed copy of book two in a series I'm reading. What a find!

Even if you’re not into the paranormal, a Buxton Ghost Tour is a must on your next trip to Charleston. We were told about the tour from our walking tour guide Bruce Burris— also excellent. (Bruce knows Charleston) We had a ball! Jenna, our guide, was quirky and cute, and knowledgeable. Her enthusiasm made it so much fun!Highly recommend this tour.
