Hot Tin Bar & Pub

The jewel in the crown of the Pontchartrain Hotel, the rooftop space, will boast a breathtaking 270-degree view of the Mississippi River and downtown New Orleans. Behind this bar, guests will find elevated cocktails and champagne as well as shareable plates and light snacks. The space will capture the look and feel of a 1940s artist loft with nods to American playwright, Tennessee Williams, who lived at the hotel while writing A Streetcar Named Desire.

Awesome rooftop bar, great views of the city and the service and selection was par excellence! I will recommend highly a drink on this rooftop in the garden district.

Best Martinis on St Charles! I love a lemon drop with Hendricks Gin, and not all bartenders are created equal when it comes to nailing my favorite! Danny was spot on and not only nailed it but made the best sugarcane Old Fashioned my husband had ever had! The music was perfect, the mood was relaxed, and the view was breathtaking! Way to go, Hot Tin!

Visited the Hot Tin Bar, located on top of the Pontchartrain Hotel, and it did not disappoint. The bar has a chic, upscale atmosphere and a solid craft cocktail menu, but the real reason to come here is the view — hands down. From the balcony, you get a panoramic look at all of New Orleans, including the Superdome, and it’s absolutely stunning. The open-air design adds to the experience, especially around sunset.Come for the drinks, stay for the view. It’s one of those quintessential NOLA spots that perfectly blends style, energy, and scenery.

Our work colleagues came to New Orleans for some training and we decided to visit Hot Tin to welcome them. Love this place! It’s in the penthouse hotel Ponchatrain where Jack Rose is located. Best view of the city with great service! We will be back!

Not that great. Very bad paper plane, even after I asked for it to be remade. Suggest you order simple drinks, beer or wine. Not craft cocktail quality.
