tripadvisorPro: Every book is $1.50 (except mass market paperbacks which are 2 for $1) You can get some great finds here; I got two practically brand new study bibles for $3 - they're still in stores retailing at $40 (and found at Half Price Books for $20)! You find something different every time you're there since people are buying and 'swapping' every day. It's surprisingly cool inside too for a warehouse that size. And they have chairs spread throughout, and some tables to sit at. Most of the staff are very friendly. They sometimes put out new items two or three times in a single day, so it's worth it to spend a few hours and recheck the areas you're interested in.Middle Ground: Their credit reimbursement seems to depend on the staff member taking them - one time I took in 15 books and got 5 credits; a different time I took in 15 and got 2 credits. Cons: There are really only two things I don't like. Some books are piled into large boxes you have to dig through - it sometimes tears up the pages, and for smaller people like me you can barely reach halfway down the pile so you can't see what's under the huge piles (or if you have a bad back you aren't really able to dig at all). And the parking lot has giant ditches spread throughout. In my opinion, the price and selections still outweigh the bad parking lot and troublesome boxes. It's my favorite weekly trip.
MoreWhat a neat little place! My girlfriend had been wanting to check this place out for some time now. I’ll say, the entrance is a bit sketchy. I thought we were going into meet Tommy No Thumbs in the back of a fish market or something lol. $1.50 per book can’t be beat!
MoreI’ve been looking forward to coming here for weeks- drove up from Cincinnati, but was immensely disappointed! It was basically impossible to find anything and was a huge waste of time.
MoreWent here as part of my birthday trip (4ish hours away). Sketchy area, crappy parking lot, but plenty of books to look at. I didn’t get as many books as I thought I would. I had previously read you got about $1 for each book you swap but I swapped like 10 nice (and some current/popular) books for $5 credit. I thought they’d look through them before determining credit value but she just counted and picked out a credit value card of $5. Overall, I purchased 11 books at $8 something. It’s a cool concept but I wouldn’t return probably.
MoreSaw this place on Facebook reels and did not know what to expect. They have a great selection and their staff are so helpful and friendly. I do plan on returning here again. It is a book lovers heaven on earth to be honest. I traveled from Michigan just to go here. Was not hard to find either.
