GReat time my family had, we went during the fall season. Beautiful areas, landscape filled with trees, nice lake, excellent views, a lot of wild life.

I’m not a hard-core hiker, so I was relieved that the trails were so well-marked. The sign-post letters are easy to understand on the park map, and the “You are here” stickers on each trail map attached to the sign posts made it really simple to hike by myself and not worry about getting turned around. Beautiful scenery and well-kept trails; highly recommend!

I love to go to Fox Island for cross-country skiing in the winter and to look at the birds any time of year.

Fox Island is a great place go and just experience nature. The observatory is especially cool and I recommend checking the schedule for any sky gazing events. Being that it is away from the city lights, it is a great place to observe stellar activities like comets, etc.Excellent place for young kids!

The park has many things to do including hiking, fishing and swimming in the small lake. The small beach area is especially nice for small children. The park also has a doggie beach.
