While doing some inspections of sites for an upcoming group tour of the Saugatuck area my girlfriend and I missed a turn, which led to learning about Aspen Glenn, which prompted a redirection of our journeys and a visit to this small but exquisitely lovely, off-the-beaten-trail studio. As lovely as it is, with gorgeous pottery art to ponder, it is thoroughly enhanced by the owner and artist-in-residence, Ellie Dietrich. What a charming, pleasant and delightful person! And so willing to share her techniques and processes! Be sure to make your visit purposeful - it's worth it! As for me, I'm glad this occurrence of events by chance turned out to be such a pleasant, although unexpected, experience. I have every intention of returning.
