Daynea is a terrible desk clerk. Not only did she not find my reservation with my actual confirmation number given by the Wyndam website, she was incredibly condescending and rude.

Our experience started when we tried to check in 1.5 hours early and were told our room wasn’t ready yet. Somewhat understandable, but the lady didn’t even offer to have it cleaned next and to get us in asap. I had to ask if we can be called when it’s ready. Never got a call, of course, so we checked in at our normal time. Was not impressed by the lobby or staff at this point. Got to 4th floor, and there was an overwhelming smell of vomit as soon as we stepped off the elevator. Our room was very basic and bland. For $370/night, again, not impressed! There were no light switches, just the motion sensing lights which went off 3 times during the night due to movement in bed. Who puts motion sensing lights in a hotel room?! The faucet in the bathroom was missing the spout piece so water sprayed everywhere every time we used it. There were no dishes or even paper towels even though we had a small kitchenette. Beds were hard and very uncomfortable. Again, for the price, I would expect luxury! Also, no water fill station in the hotel or breakfast (which we knew about the breakfast ahead of time but for the price, you’d think it would be included). The vomit smell lingered and was still there the next day when we checked out. Horrible experience and definitely NOT worth the price…not even close! Only upside was cleanliness.

Came in late in the afternoon, caught without any overnight clothes/bathroom stuff. Met by a great host named Daynea, she was SO attentive and accommodating, giving me razor/cream and toothpaste/brush, extra blanket since I was caught without. Really great clean, fresh room. Really quiet building, laid back comfortable atmosphere. Definitely will be on my regular list.

I stayed one night at WoodSpring Suites in Fargo, North Dakota, and honestly, it ended up being exactly what I needed—and better than I expected. From the moment I checked in, everything felt easy and stress-free. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, which made a good first impression after a long day of travel. Check-in was quick, and I was able to get settled into my room without any hassle. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. I really appreciated the kitchenette—it had a full-size fridge, microwave, and stovetop, which is such a nice bonus even for a short stay. It made the space feel more like a little studio than just a standard hotel room. Everything was well-kept, and I didn’t run into any cleanliness issues at all. What stood out most to me was how quiet and relaxed the atmosphere felt. I was able to unwind, get a good night’s sleep, and not feel bothered by noise or distractions. The bed was comfortable, and I woke up feeling rested, which is really the most important thing for a quick overnight stay. The location was also super convenient—easy to find, with plenty of parking and quick access to the main roads around Fargo. It made getting in and out really simple, which I always appreciate when I’m just passing through.Overall, I’d absolutely stay here again. It’s a great option if you want something affordable, clean, and comfortable without a lot of fuss. For me, it checked all the boxes and made my short stay in Fargo smooth and enjoyable.
