Aquarela Brazilian Dance Ensemble is the authentic dance troup that brings the magic of Brazil from Rio de Janeiro Carnaval to the Bay Area. As many other Brazilian dance groups have emerged during the past 20 years of our existence, yet Aquarela only has maintained its reputation as the most authentic Brazilian dance company in the San Francisco Bay Area. Aquarela's members take pride in the group's reputation. Since its inception, Aquarela Brazilian Dance Ensemble, consisting of 6-8 well-rehearsed dancers, and it has been under the artistic leadership of Maria Amabilis de Souza and Silvana da Silva Sousa. Aquarela takes pride on their well elaborate costumes as well on their dancers abilities to perform a variation of styles of Cultural dances of Brazil.
