Despite being right next to a highway, it is very peaceful, and a strong sense of God’s presence is here. Even on a scorching hot July day sitting under the pavilion in the shade. There is a slight breeze. Plenty of parking and enough space to have alone time with God.If you have time , don’t pass up the opportunity to read the many plaques of scriptures which paints a picture of how a vision and need became a reality from the support of the community. Tip: there are no trash cans, no bathrooms, no water, so come prepared if you plan on spending a lot of time here.

On a recent visit to the Carthage area, we were told about this. Since we were in town and close, we decided to drive there. Although it is in close proximity to a highway, it was very peaceful. The statue is beautiful and the area is well kept. I recommend a quick visit.

Beautiful sculpture, beautiful area, nice place if you’re traveling to also stop and stretch your legs.. I had saw that this was close to my moms so we drove out to check it out, one of my favorite poems.

Gorgeous tribute to Man’s reliance on Jesus Christ. This memorial was beautifully done and truly should inspire you as you walk through life…..

We stopped here on a road trip to stretch our legs for a bit. It's such a beautiful sculpture!! There are benches everywhere as well as a nice walking path. A little ways from the sculpture is a picnic area. Perfect stop for anyone on a road trip. The sculpture itself is very moving!
