Booked a 2 night stay well in advance for a work trip. Flight was delayed so I called at 8 pm to provide heads up that I would be getting in around 1 am. Arrived at around 1:30 am and was told that they were “overbooked” and had no rooms left and that I needed to walk over to the residence Inn down the street - where they have an “agreement” and I will be able to stay there. They did cover the cost of that room but this isn’t about $$. Front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful, obviously this is not their fault. I’m disappointed that there was no mention of “we may give away your room if you arrive at 1 am” when I called earlier. I would have booked elsewhere to avoid this hassle. Did not feel comfortable walking, alone, in the middle of the night to the other hotel. Had to move from residence inn back to Hyatt house second night and rooms was clean/comfortable etc. No issues with the rooms/location etc but very disappointed in the lack of communication about them “over booking.”

This hotel is conveniently located to the river on one side and the streetcar on the other. My room was spacious and I loved the shower! The bathroom could easily accommodate two people at the same time. The breakfast was delicious, but I am pretty partial to buffet scrambled eggs! I highly recommend this location. The front desk staff was just great! I felt like I was home!

Lydia at the front desk was amazing. Very hospitable, recommended good places and assisted us throughout our stay. Hotel location is great! Room was clean and spacious. Only thing, I just wish the sofa bed would've been made for us. Also, the sofa bed felt a little old. But everything was great.

The location is close to the river and to downtown. The area isn't too crowded. It's very walkable, but the streetcar picks up right in front of the hotel too. It's nice and modern inside. The pool is pretty small, but the gym is good sized and has a peloton. The valet parking is pricey, but there is a parking garage 1-2 blocks away that's convenient and cheaper. I paid $10 for parking there on my weekend stay, but I think the standard overnight parking in the garage is $24. Note that on weekends, the free breakfast doesn't start till 7:30am. So if you have small kids who are up early, they're going to have to wait a while for breakfast.

This was a clean, nicely decorated hotel with a comfortable bed in the room and had everything we needed. The breakfast has many options and was better than expected. I would stay here again. I liked the surrounding neighborhood and the easy access to the riverwalk.
