No one in my family had attended college, but I knew education was the path I needed to take. I left my family on the East Coast and drove across the country, hoping to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I'm proud to say the risk paid off—I became a UNLV alum! Henderson quickly became home, and in 2003, I opened my insurance agency here. After decades in this community, I understand the needs and concerns of the people who call Henderson home.
