MoreLocation in Reno is nice. It's near the Truckee walking area and appears to be in an up coming neighborhood. Liked it not being a casino hotel but close enough if you wanted one. Room was clean(did have an issue with the shower we handled) and a good size. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The garage is tricky to navigate and needs more handicap spots. The elevators in garage seem to be a lottery on what was working. All in all liked our stay and would go back.
MoreComfortable downtown alternative to the casinos. Walkable to restaurants, the museum, casinos. Right on the Riverwalk area. Slightly dated but comfortable and clean. Staff were pleasant, parking onsite. Electric vehicle charging at Eldorado. A bit pricey, but comparable to most places nearby.
MoreThis hotel is fantastic. Location downtown is perfect, very close to many restaurants and safe. It's a really cool hotel. What was enjoyable is it feels you walked right into 1968. Nothing has been upgraded, everything looks just like it must have almost sixty years ago. When I say nothing upgraded, the hotel is in good shape, they just haven't replaced old things with newer, they have simply maintained. The seventh floor has a really good indoor pool, a nice speak easy tavern that is only open weekends, and an awesome billiards room with free pool. The coffee machine runs 24/7 with excellent coffee drinks (all complimentary). My son and I were super happy with our selection and will absolutely stay here again if we are back in Reno
