This is one of many tourist stores in town and you an shop for trinkets for your family here. It's fun but there is little of special quality, just fun stuff.

There are a lot of little objects here that you can buy as souvenirs or gifts. Some may be valuable, but a lot of it is not. Just a gift store.

AVOID THIS STORE. I normally won’t write a review unless I’ve had exceptional service or a very unfortunate experience. My visit to Delta Gift Shop was the latter. We went to Virginia City to visit and sightsee. We entered the store to look around and a woman working there didn’t welcome us or even ask us if we needed assistance. She then had the nerve to ask my children to leave the store because they didn’t allow anyone under 18 in the store without an adult. Clearly, this was a made up rule she conjured up on the spot and not applicable since we were all together and there were no signs. She sarcastically had the nerve to say, “bye-bye” to us! When we inquired as to the reason, instead of offering up an explanation, she had the audacity to pick up the phone and THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE. Sadly, her cluelessness of the law was evident since I would have loved to hear the reason she gave to the police. For the people of color with us, this was sadly all to familiar ignorant behavior. Moreover, I’m not sure how children could have been threatening to her. Needless to say, she never dialed. It is sad and an embarrassment to this store that they would choose a person like this to represent the store in such an appalling manner. I will definitely be sharing our experience and hope that no one else has to endure such atrocious behavior from someone who clearly lacks class, education and human decency.

Please see my question/comments to Mary regarding her purchase there of like jewelry. The owner that deals with the vendor of the Native American jewelry was extremely willing to make my experience with her jewelry a pleasant experience, offering a complete refund when my questions regarding the authenticity of the stones arose. After my own research regarding white Buffalo stones, I was very happy with my purchase.

Me and my family visited the Delta Gift Shop. What an amazing store! It had everything you need. Very clean and organized, the prices were affordable and the staff was very helpful. We bought little trinkets for friends and family to take back. I bought white Turquoise, their white Turquoise is very beautiful! I am happy with the set I bought, my husband even got a white Turquoise ring. We are very happy with our purchases. I will definitely be going back. If you have never been to Virginia City, you should definitely make a trip there and go visit the Delta Gift shop. Amazing staff! Thank you Delta Gift shop!
