Christ Church Irving confers the status of God to Jesus and believes in the triune Godhead. It maintains that the idea of God is too large and magnificent for humans to grasp in totality but faith in Jesus and adherence to Biblical messages leads to eternal life after death in heaven. It involves everyone from children and college students to senior citizens in community projects, in which help is rendered to the hunger-stricken and the homeless. It has more than five home groups, one for singles and the others for couples in different stages of their marriages. The children's ministry has volunteers like kid greeters, nursery teachers, pre-school helpers and kid's storytellers, thus making it an ideal church for the entire family.
