So yes. It's an old motel. The decor has not been updated in a while.BUT! It was clean! They had a big flat-screen TV. The bed and mattresses were comfortable (firm, which I well prefer over saggy).The parking spaces are indeed tight. Recommend NOT trying to park your giant SUV there. In fact, how about just not buying giant SUVs anymore?Wifi wasn't working when we first got there. Quick call to the office and they rebooted the routers/access points and we were good to go.

A good value for the area. Not easy to find, gotta know where to look, check your GPS. Away from the business area of Eagle Rock. Chain motels on Colorado Blvd are much more money, and book up faster at busy times. Room was good, nothing fancy, but clean. Fridge, microwave, TV, chair, and small desk. Overall a quiet night. Parking very tight, under building. Gotta be careful between the poles, could loose a mirror. Not many guests the night I stayed, so I got to use one of the bigger spots for my midsized Hyundai Sonata rental car to unload my luggage. It still was close getting car in the spot. After driving back to motel from dinner nearby, I took the challenge , and got the car backed into one of the smaller spots. Good thing for back-up cameras in new cars! Good for a one night stay, and close enough to freeways to get to other areas of LA.

Not much of parking but the stay was okay. Place is the best around highland park. The spot is sort of hides unless you know your way around Los Angeles. Seen other hotels and this one is the best. Clean and decent.

They didn't have my Booking.com reservation when I arrived but gave me a room. I wonderedWhy the window was wide open in December. Closed it and turned on the heat. The a/c heater unit was visibly dirty so the air that came out immediately made my eyes and nose swell. Turned it off.The moldy mildew smell made it hard to sleep. Fortunately I just came from a dance tour around Asia where people often have masks in hand for pollution. So I wore a mask.The bathtub stopper didn't work so I took a shower.On the plus side, the rooms were renovated, had good beds and a big fridge. There is a good taco truck up the block.
