Loud people and the staff accept it! I specifically asked one of the desk staff on the second floor, whether there are rules for keeping quiet and he said that if he cannot hear it, then it is OK and he of course would not hear it as the loud people were 30-40 feet away from him, but 2 feet from me. In all the libraries I have been until now (I'm 44) talking is either not allowed in the quiet areas or very close to it so this library I guess is different... Or it depends on who is working at the moment...This could be an amazing library, as the building, books, equipment, etc. is amazing, but coming here to find a quiet area is pretty much impossible.

I am new to the area. I visited and joined the bookstore located in the lobby of the library. Outstanding selection of books at remarkable prices. Collector books, signed books, cookbooks, top selling fiction and non fiction, huge kids corner. Staffed by volunteers who read a lot and are very helpful. Book Clubs for adults. They have frequent pop up and sidewalk sales. A must visit.

I was asking if there are or will there be any nonfictional books about Kemal Amin CASEY Kasem? I was there in 2014 when Kasems factual beneficiary Towery Tyree M Burris-Hunt hosted a public event Mayor Lili Bosse & Chief Snowden spoke. Tyree was managed by Kris Kardashian. The library has a great event hall where public lectures and events like this are held. Computers, FAX & Copier machines available for use.

It is impressive the size of this bookstore, I had been looking for a book on my family for many years that I finally managed to find here, well done

So well organized with great displays...they even have a book club once a month...always great selection...
