Very excited to visit the home of the Toledo mudhens [Klinger from MASH] we have been talking about this for years. We stopped on the way to Cleveland. It was a relatively short stop and an easy on and off. We came in via Highway 280 and left via I 95/I80. It added about 14 minutes onto our drive. there is a bathroom in the store. Lots of cute merchandise. I bought a very cute baseball sweater for my 11 year old daughter – she thinks it is very in style. I got a hoodie for myself and a shirt for my son. A hat for my dad. They were reasonably friendly. There was a coffee shop, just down the street for us to get a drink and stretch our legs. Unfortunately, it was not a game day and so the stadium was not open. However, we were able to walk around and look inside. Through the fence. Overall very fun.

We dropped our son of at the U. of T. Medical School and explored the town. We knew nothing about Toledo. We liked the town! Very laid back. Lots of cool parks, river activities, bars (yay!) and restaurants. Mainly in a 4 block radius around the ball park. Everyone we met were very friendly. Nice town!The park itself is really fun. The fans really get into the promotions. As I learned from talking to the employees at The Swamp Shop on Tuesdays they encourage the fans to bring their dogs (hooked me right there) and wear the Toledo Mud Hounds uniforms. Really a good time!

The official MudHen and Walleye store, the selection at this store is unsurpassed. Love this store-but beware, its hard to leave without purchasing a thing (or3).
