An extraordinary store filled with art-level Japanese ceramics (some of them are on display in museums in Chicago and Korea.) The store is the ground floor of a charming historic house. Amazing!

The artist’s studio displays a number of her pieces. I am a huge fan! I am especially fond of her vases. She is Japanese and paints her vases, trays, tea pots, etc with a fine brush.

The artist runs and owns the shop. She is very friendly. There are some very unique pieces here. I was just going to stop by take a look but I ended up buying a couple of pieces.

What a treat it was to visit this place. Got to speak to the lovely artist herself . Hardest part was choosing which lovely pieces I wanted. Her colors on the porcelain were exquisite. What a truly hidden GEM!
