This hotel was disgusting. There was no water for 2 days. There were cockroaches in the hallway. A dirty bandaid was in our room. There was construction being done. To top it off management was terrible to deal with so we had to leave and find another hotel which was much nicer and had water.

My mom and I stayed here 3 nights visiting my daughter at ASU. I paid $450 per night and it was not even close to worth that. We were given ice in plastic ziploc bags at front desk, as they were out of buckets. There is no housekeeping the entire stay. We had to ask for more towels and were only ever given 1 washcloth (for 2 people). They said towels are help yourself in the stash rooms but i went to every floor looking and they were not stocked. To top it off, I was charged $28 for restaurant food the day after I checked out. I called multiple times and no one would fix or refund the unauthorized charge. I had to dispute the charge with my bank and get a new debit card!

I came with my son and chose this hotel because I was looking for something different and unique from the typical run-of-the-mill hotels. The pictures looked exciting and really drew us in. When we arrived, the overall design and decor did not disappoint. The open lobby with games and a bar created a very inviting atmosphere, and we especially liked the beanbag in the room and the unique aesthetic. The house drink was also very delicious. It definitely had personality and felt different in a good way.Unfortunately, the condition of the room itself did not meet expectations. The room smelled damp and did not feel clean. There was noticeable calcium buildup in the shower, Kleenex was missing, and there were no trash bags in the trash cans, which meant we had no way to manage our own trash. We were also told that room service only occurs every other night and that if we needed anything, we had to get it ourselves. This was surprising and not something I’ve experienced before. We asked for an extra blanket and were told they did not have any available, which was odd. It left me wondering how bedding would be replaced with clean linens the following morning if no extra blankets were available. I also wish the room had included a coffee maker and refrigerator. I only learned at the end of our stay that there was a shared coffee maker at the end of the hall, which would have been helpful to know earlier. While I appreciated the creativity, decor, and welcoming lobby atmosphere, the lack of cleanliness, basic room supplies, and limited service made the stay disappointing. Overall, it was not worth the price, and I would not choose to stay here again, even at a significantly lower rate.

Not five-star as in Ritz-Carlton certainly, but I don't understand the negative reviews at all. Our group had nine rooms. The checkin was extremely quick and friendly. Rooms are frayed around the edges, but perfectly clean, and housekeeping was excellent. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We love the public spaces. We come every January, and have always been pleased to be at this hotel.

I visited this hotel for a day stay in June 2025. Charged about $99 US dollar for a day stay plus tax. Hotel is about 10 minute walk from Light Rail to PHX airport.Reception area is great. Love the Moxy Hotel concept. Room is Ok, but noisy air-conditioning and no wardrobe. However, the main concern is the pool. The hotel pool is terrible in regard to cleaning. Fully of dirt and and the water is not clear. Having visiting 1000s of hotels, I never experienced such a bad hotel pool. It should be closed. The Marriott group should be ashamed! Photos attached. However, the location is great never CVS pharmacy and fast food outlets.
