Thomas Reservoir is a great neighborhood lake to take a nice walk. Beautiful shoreline, trees, wildlife.... I think it is roughly .7 miles around, so not a big lake. But some wonderful views. Stop and fish for a while. Have a picnic.

I wish someday that there won't be fishing allowed. I find line, hooks, and bobbers every time I go there. They hang from trees, get stuck on living fish, and waste is left on the ground by fishemen.

Exercise, relax and fish if you wish!! Nicely improved crushed gravel path around the lake Ideal for walking, jogging or biking . Excellent views of the mountains, numerous benches, some in the shade, others the sun ☀️ Ample parking with handicapped accessible portable restroom.

Nice walking trail, but the portable potty was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen! LONG overdue for service and I’m sure is a health concern/hazard. Nice houses and neighborhood, but feel badly that they are exposed to that lack of care. Also, there was a fenced area for a butterfly/bee garden, that was basically weeds and dirt with a bench on the side. Some workers were testing sprinklers, but appeared to be too little too late. Won’t be back here.

Thomas Reservoir has a nice path around the reservoir, and is good for fishing with children. No boating or swimming allowed.
