tripadvisorThey just can’t seem to make it happen here- hotel and amenities do not get the care it deserves and it shows up as slow and unresponsive staff, lack of services, and limited amenities (like yoga mats) to things the tout about. Didn’t have a great stay here especially for a lifetime titanium bonvoy member. How can you not respond to requests for extra towels, or asks for water in the gym or have a fridge in my room when I asked for it in my profile (like every other Marriott does). It’s loud and dark and not a comfortable hotel overall. Will not come back.
MoreThe Westin Seattle provided a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of downtown Seattle. The room was clean, well maintained, and offered a relaxing place to unwind after exploring the city. The hotel's location made it easy to access nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The staff members were professional and helpful throughout the stay. Common areas were well kept, and the property offered the amenities expected from a full-service hotel. The overall experience felt smooth and organized, making travel more enjoyable. One of the best aspects of the hotel was its balance between comfort and accessibility. Whether visiting Seattle for business or leisure, The Westin Seattle serves as a reliable home base with comfortable accommodations and a central location. I would be happy to stay here again on a future trip.
MoreThe staff here was amazing. The hotel is really really nice. And thoroughly enjoyed it. Very clean. Great hosting space for events. Great in house restaurant and bar. The room was very spacious and well laid out. I only don’t say 5 stars because I recognize that there are hotels that are just out of this world experiences. But the staff here was as good as you could ask. Helpful. Friendly. Full of personality. Look forward to staying here again.
MoreAfter receiving a bigger room I found out that it was located right by the elevators - non stop noise. Why even have those rooms.
MoreGood location near the transit, monorail and waterfront etc. The surrounding shopping area has definitely declined over the past decade but a short talk down to Pikes place market and the waterfront is well worth it. Not sure I'd feel super safe walking the streets of Seattle late at night on my own.Room in the North Tower was nice although bathroom felt a little old and needs modernisation. Water pressure from main tap was very low. Nice views from the 35th floor. Had a meal in the downstairs bar - very nice and staff friendly and helpful. Why average rating? This doesn't feel 4 star hotel. It feels comfortable but a bit tired around the edges. It needs a refresh. Staff were helpful - but if you could find them. I've never seen a major hotel reception desk so empty.Breakfast experience - nearly always a queue to enter with one person on the desk. So took 15-20 mins some days. Breakfast choice on week days not good. Weekends better with buffet - I've no idea why they don't run this every day instead of the fixed menu. The little coffee place - you can buy limited sandwiches, salads, coffee etc. charged $7 for a bottle of water feels excessive. I'd head to Pikes place market where you'll have a much better choice for less cost. For Platinum Elite members - upgraded room if feasible and also a continental/basic breakfast for free. No exec lounge.I'd stay again but there are nicer/more modern hotels nearby.I hope that Marriott refresh this hotel and improve some of the things above - it's could be great.
