So glad we stopped to see Virgin Creek Falls!!! It’s a very short hike - maybe 10 minutes - BUT you are in a MAGICAL FOREST!!!! Everything was so lush and green!!! I expected little fairies to start flying around - lol!!!It’s a must stop!!!

The hike to the falls is very short. There isn’t a parking lot, you just park on the street. It’s a really short walk/hike to the falls. Definitely worth a stop!

This is a great, very short, hike through a “whimsical” and fairy tale like setting to get to a set of low cascading water falls. It’s not a wide path so be mindful if you bring small children. Heavily shaded. Great out and back for 30 minutes of your day!VictorB

The Virgin Creek Falls trail is a beautiful trail, and the falls at the end are worth it. It's not a very long trail, and is very manageable. This was a nice stop.

We chose to do this coming back from Homer on the way to the Anchorage. Thought we might also eat dinner here in girdwood but decided just to stretch our legs here. Don’t be fooled by the residential area with many swanky house…take the dirt road to the end, And there is a trailhead marker and sign. It’s an easy hike although watch our for roots. This is right In the middle of a rainforest. Very pretty.
