tripadvisorThis was a nice place with lots of water birds and a nice place to take a stroll. It was my first time visiting a marsh and it was beautiful. Saw some tadpoles in the pond as well. My friend and I walked about half and turned back. But I would go back to explore all of it next time I'm in the area.
MoreTons of critters call this little plot home. Especially after it rains. Take a camera and be patient and you'll see more birds, lizards, and little furry critters than you imagined live in the City of Angels.
MoreI love to come here by myself or with my grandsons to explore what is happening at the marsh. The marsh can be dry in the summer with lots of pathways to explore, or full of water in the spring with birds and frogs and water fowl. Any time of year, this is a wonderful spot to come for a respite. There's also a nature center that hosts lots of different kinds of events for adults and kids.
MoreWe found a quiet little Eden, right in the middle of Torrance. It's very quiet here. Especially when you figure that this is right next to Sepulveda Blvd. With the recent rains, the Marsh is alive with flowers and various critters, that we do not often see in So Cal. This is a great area to take the kiddies on a safe nature walk and let them experience the outdoors in a safe environment. Or, just take a walk yourself, and find some peace and tranquility. Either before your walk in the Marsh or after, your choice, visit the Visitor Center right across the street. Not across Sepulveda, the other way. There is much to learn about the Marsh and the various living things here that call this place home.
MoreThis is an oasis of nature in the center of a bustling suburban city. The abundant rains this year has brought forth an abundance of new life in the marsh and attracted many different birds. Just in one morning, spotted 3 different species of duck, coots, egrets, and a blue heron as well as visiting Canadian geese. Beautiful spot for a respite from the busy city.
