tripadvisorBeautiful hotel, great bar and restaurant, great customer service. Convenient location and parking. Would absolutely return.Bar was understaffed so delayed opening by ~1 hour creating quite a thirsty crowd in the lobby while awaiting opening. Bartender was hustling to make it work though once she could get opened!
MoreVery poor experience. Numerous issues with room. They claimed they would send an engineer and housekeeping. Neither ever came. Complained again at checkout that nobody ever had helped us. No apology of any kind (and no offer of discount etc). Horrible corporate service. Not recommended
MoreThe people were nice and the room was clean. However, the shower stall had mold in the grout and around the floor. The water pressure in the shower was barely a trickle. The coffee pot was extremely difficult to use and even though they replaced it with another one it was also difficult to use. There was no hotel shop to get toiletries or anything close by. There’s no courtesy coffee in the lobby. They do not provide a class of paper cup in the bathroom to use although a glass was provided in the room. If I ever return to Portland I would not stay here again!
MoreThis is a nice hotel right in the heart of downtown Portland. The rooms are a bit small but are comfortable and well appointed. The water heats up quickly for morning or evening showers. The hotel restaurant is fine but closes for at least an hour between breakfast and lunch service ..... not to worry ..... The Nines is a block away and serves killer food. Forget using cash for anything ..... this is a cashless property.
MoreThe Duniway was very disappointing - hotel entrance was dirty and the lobby was worn, the check-in was efficient at best, elevator was dark and dingy, hall carpet had not been vacuumed recently. Reluctantly we went ahead and checked in - but once in our room we decided move hotels - the desk person did not care one bit we were checking out and had not one question to as why we were. Fortunately we found another hotel near by - best decision ever!
