Stew Leonards uses a roundabout pathway through its departments. Not like the parallel set ups of most supermarkets. Their meats look excellent but are very expensive. The fish is not quite as expensive. bakery items are average. Nice produce but again very expensive. This is where we often shop when we’re in Norwalk but just out of convenience.

MoreOn a road trip and driving by we spotted a sign: Ripley's Believe it or not - World's Largest Dairy Store! Quick turn into the parking lot - curious to see what this was. What fun we had as we checked out this historic spot. Originally a dairy farm - turned into large indoor market with high quality, fresh local foods and products. 1950's musical animal characters along the way.....still actually able to view the milk bottling process! Great food -- freshly cooked items, freshly made items to take home, cheeses, meats, seafoods, breads. Also a bbq area on site to eat.
