BUGS - 1 STAR ⭐️I stayed at this property from 12/28/25–12/29/25 and the experience was awful from the moment I arrived. I had not been in the first room (473) long at all before I saw a bug crawling across the kitchen counter where my food was. I killed it and had to throw all of my food away. Completely disgusting.(I also included a photo with a timestamp to verify this happened/ hotel reservation confirmation.)I was moved to room 158, but then spent the night dealing with constant door slamming for hours, and it started again early in the morning. The front desk addressed it one time, and that was it. Never once did they re-check to see if the noise had stopped.I was told management would call me, refund my stay, and give additional points for everything that happened. No one ever contacted me. After waiting days, On 12/31/25 I reached out through the Diamond desk, who finally processed the refund. Only then did someone named (Candy) “under” the General Manager reach out. The first time she did get my voicemail. She and I had the call between us on 1/5/26 and she offered 500 points which would be given 2+ weeks later. Which is basically nothing when you can earn that from a Hilton survey. She even implied the noise issue was my fault for being a light sleeper. That they have quote heavy doors. For the record, the actual General Manager (Nate) never reached out. I was told he would return my call after 2:30pm on 1/6/26 after his bussiness meeting. So clearly it wasn’t important to them. Staff on the property the night I made the complaint also hinted they were already aware of bug issues on the property which is unacceptable. Claiming the bugs were due to the gun range next door.To make matters worse, the hotel is now refusing my mother service for what we believe is because of the situation they created with me, which is unprofessional, retaliatory, and completely out of line. My stay here was a nightmare:a bug in my room, wasted food, hours of noise, sleep issues due to hotel santitation, zero communication, and now retaliation toward my family.I will not return and I would not recommend this property to anyone.(Update: Hilton Diamond desk did eventually credit additional points due to the hassle because it was clear the property had no intention of resolving the matter on their end.)(Update : As of 1/8/26 I am waiting on a response from (Nate) the General Manager. To get this issue resolved.

We are diamond members for Hilton. The past several Hilton properties that we have stayed at have been so disappointing because the rooms now smell like dog kennels. We do not travel with an animal. My suggestion would be for the Hilton properties to establish an animal wing. That way all parties would be taken care of. The staff at this hotel was very nice. They offered us another room, but we have done that before and all rooms smell alike. They did offer us some snacks to take on the road. I realize their hands are tied, but I liked it so much better when animals were not allowed in the rooms. I know I'm probably upsetting animal lovers, but we just don't travel with ours and I don't like the smell the smell of animals in a hotel room.

I rarely ever rate something very low but this deserves it. This Home 2 Suites is connected to a Tru Home hotel; meaning the lobby for Home 2 suites is unstaffed and you need to walk to the other hotel for assistance. There are signs up stating the Home 2 Suites is in process of a face lift; they need much more than a face lift here. They need an attitude adjustment and a stick of dynamite. We use digital keys on our phones. When we arrived we walked around the hotel to find our key didn’t work at the pool. We went to the hotel lobby at the Tru Home to find assistance, only to be told it’s glitchy and they couldn’t help us. Another staff member mumbled something about our dog pooping on the way into the hotel and said she needed to do that out back…while we were picking up the poop. Then told us we could not use the trash can and had to bring it out back….so kind and helpful. Yep, sarcasm there! Next our room….dirty, smelly and uncomfortable. The smell of musty dirty dog hit us when opening the door. The kitchen sink is dented multiple places. The floor in the bathroom corners look like someone has missed cleaning them in the last decade at least. Plus, the door only opened part way because it gets stuck on the tile. The sofa was stained and made an awful noise when someone would sit down. Plus, the beds were hard as rocks yet lumpy at the same time. The pillows are flat and smelled odd. Thank goodness we brought our own. We only stayed one night and will not be back to this location again.

This is a superb hotel, and I would highly recommend for anyone to stay there. It was clean, comfortable, top-of-the-line staff, just a superior stay altogether. We will be back. The breakfast was wonderful. We were allowed to have relatives living nearby join us for a fair price for breakfast which we very much appreciated.

Exceptional property with great amenities. Modern, clean, convenient and close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. From the moment we checked in till checkout, things were outstanding. We had problems with our digital key upon arrival which was actually a blessing. We then met an awesome front desk clerk. We will be staying here again and again when in the area.
