Wells House of California is a medical and rehabilitation facility for people post-hospitalization. We have 24/7 staff to treat medical problems and a physical therapy team to rehabilitate our residents so they can return to their previous way of life. Facility staff include nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, dietitians, social workers, and case managers. Our goal is to treat medical problems such as wounds or IV therapy. Some people only need physical therapy. Wells House is a sub-acute facility. We are able to care for people on ventilators or tracheostomy. Our goal is to wean residents off the vent and eventually de-cannulate (remove) a patients tracheostomy, if of course the patient is a candidate for trials.
