Went on a sail in Dec 2024 and loved everything. Captain Andrew delivered a custom 3 hour tour sailing the Newport harbor Bay to Pirates and Crystal cove. We saw dolphins, sea lions, many shore birds and spectacular scenery. The boat is beautiful and very safe. Captain Andrew is a local resident and had many anecdotal stories to share about history, wildlife, people, homes and sightseeing. Highly recommend his tour and praises to the owner Captain Andrew.

I can't recommend Captain Andrew enough!Lively is an amazing, beautiful boat and was a lot of fun to be on. It's definitely the coolest boat in the harbor. I learned soooo much on this trip. Captain Andrew is so knowledgeable, and you can tell how passionate he is about sailing.We were visiting the area to honor my grandparents and scatter their ashes. After looking at a lot of larger companies, I realized they weren't right for us. My grandparents were huge sailors, and it needed to be done by sailboat. Captain Andrew not only accommodated our needs, he went above and beyond in order to get it done.We were originally booked for Thursday, but when we realized the winds would be upwards of 40 MPH, he was able to get us in a day earlier at the last minute. (Despite the fact he needed to get his other boat ready for the storm coming in)It was the best send off we could have given them. They would have loved the sailboat and Captain Andrew.Thank you!

I booked Lively Schooner for a 4 hour tour out of Newport Harbor. The booking process was easy and Andrew the captain met us at the dock on time and his vessel was ready to go. He provided us a full safety briefing prior to departure and covered the most common issues IF any we could run into. Andrew has a true love of sailing and is an amazing and safe skipper. I have worked on rescue boat for 25 years and Andrew was always on top of things and I never worried. The sail was perfect and I can't wait to go back! I have never seen anybody parallel park a sailboat in such a a tight spot, but, Andrew nailed it. I am sure there are other places to rent a sailboat from but if you want a reasonable price, the coolest schooner out on the water and a safe journey, you CAN NOT go wrong with Andrew!

We had six passengers. Andrew the captain was fabulous- the boat was extremely comfortable and easy to move around in. We were on his boat for over 3 hours which allowed us to view everything inside the harbor as well as to do some sailing along the coast. We had light winds which made it easy to share food and drinks but wasn't as exciting as if the winds had been stronger. We'd all love to return and we highly recommend this adventure!

We booked a trip on Lively Schooner with Captain Andrew and it was excellent. The sailboat is beautiful and comfortable. Captain Andrew is also very knowledgeable of the area and about sailboats so we had a great conversation. We would definitely recommend and would go again too.
