tripadvisorA lovely museum with free admission and a great cafe where we had lunch. Also bought a unique piece of jewelry in their gift shop. Especially good place to wander during the 100 degree heat Little Rock is having.
MoreWe are local to Little Rock and frequent AMFA. Top Notch Museum Not to Be Missed. Well curated and wonderful temporary exhibits.Park Restaurant is Highly Recommended!
MoreI was constantly in awe viewing the creativity on display.
MoreWe were on a bus tour and stopped at this museum. The admission is free. The building itself is worth a look. The architecture is stunning. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the actual art. Most of the art was modern art and performance art. There was a guy sitting at a small desk typing on an old typewriter. There was a framed cloth with flour spilled on it. I just don't get how that is art. It's a small museum. You only need an hour or so. There is a small gift shop on the bottom floor. The staff was friendly.
Morethe building is beautiful but short on quality art. Pretty much a modern art or contemporary art. I am not an art critic, but I did not care for it. Very little old masters type art.
