We had booked a swim-with-the-manatees tour. When we arrived it turned out that the company we had booked with had over-booked themselves and we had been handed off to another operator. We weren't too sure about the whole thing but we really lucked out! Captain Fred took us on a wonderful tour. He was very informative and polite and made sure that we had plenty of time to swim with the manatees. He also knew right where to find them and got us in to see them before large boats of tourists got there making it more difficult to have one-on-one time with them. It was a private tour but was very reasonably priced. I enjoyed it so much I am already making plans for a return trip.
