When you enter the front door of Potters Brown you are amazed at the amount of colorful useful pottery you see. there are all sorts of dishes, bowls, cups, vases, small serving bowls & of course Squeaky Brown, the resident Cat, who is usually sleeping in her bowl on the counter.

This was one of only a couple of places in town open during the first part of the week when we drove through. Potters Brown (and The Shed) made the side trip totally worth it. Wonderful friendly staff. Causal with great pottery pieces, some very large. Reasonable prices. Got lots of information about other things to do nearby. Great way to spend a few minutes! Will definitely go back again.

Cool.Loved it. A must with family and children. Educational and a fun day. The whole town of 375 population is friendly and helpful. A great day overall.

You cannot help loving this place. Sometimes it is open and no-one is there, but the door is open. They have a sign on the back of their cash register that says to get what you like and leave a check for it! How cool is that? When I was there a man gave me a short visit of their factory. It was very interesting. Beautiful pottery. They have some very large pieces.
