I graduated from Ringling School of Art back in 1976. Recently my wife and I made a quick trip to the Tampa area from NJ on family matters, but also we wanted see Ringling College and check out the works of art for sell by students and alumni at the Madeby Gallery. Unfortunately, Sunday was the only option we had and our visit was limited to just walking around and taking pictures outside. It’s unbelievable how this once small art school has grown and transformed into what I consider the top ranked institute for learning art and design in the US. The college campus and buildings alone should be considered beautiful works of art. The accomplishments the students and alumni have made are incredible. I would have loved to have taken the courses Ringling College of Art and Design offer these days, and a chance to sell pieces of art work at the Madeby Gallery.
