Since 1958, this mom-and-pop shop has been slinging burgers, sandwiches and shakes to the people of Pasadena. The decor inside is reminiscent of the era, with checkerboard tiled walls, replica vintage Route 66 placards and red vinyl seats, all you need is Chubby Checker on the jukebox and you'll be transported in time. The menu has daily specials which include your choice of sandwich, side and a drink. Located on Washington Boulevard in North Pasadena, it's a nice spot to visit in lieu of the usual fast-food spots.
