tripadvisorWent to Crunch in Eagle. Despite them telling us there would not be a strict adherence to the personal trainer sessions we could not get ahold of her so that was it. Massage water chair still out of order so we couldn’t do that together. We have quit and gone to a different gym and hope to save any other people some time and expense by posting a review.
MoreThis club continues to have issues getting their club open on the weekends. They are supposed to be open today, Sunday August 11th at 8am. As of 9am they still weren't open. This continues to happen. What would happen if Costco or Scheels opened more than an hour past their posted opening time? The GM would he fired or would be given the opportunity to open on the weekends until he learned how to hire people that understand personal integrity and work ethic. Time for change at this Crunch location.
Morethey're billing practices are predatory. I don't care how nice their gym is. they will renew your yearly membership without notifying you and if you try to refund and cancel it, within 24 hours of the renewal, they tell you that you get gym access for the remainder of the month of cancellation and because you get access they cant refund your yearly fee. Don't sign up because once you want to quit they will make it the biggest pain, banking on it being more trouble than its worth and you just keep it. Save your money or give it to a gym that wont refuse to refund you within 24 hours of unauthorized billing.
Moredon’t normally write reviews, but in this case something needs to be said.I chose Crunch Fitness because I was looking for a gym where I where I could access the Wi-Fi after my workout. Several people there, including managers, said that this would not be a problem. I signed up with Joli at the State Street location contingent on having Wi-Fi access. Everything was fine until a new girl started working the front desk. All of a sudden I was told that I could no longer be on my laptop there because she was uncomfortable with me and I was violating her private space.Needless to say I objected to this as it violated my agreement with Crunch Fitness. Next thing I know, no less than 3 Boise police officers came to escort me out of the club telling me that Crunch had the right to refuse service to anyone. Apparently, a disturbed girl’s paranoid feelings take precedence over a paid male member following the rules.I have received no apology from Crunch Fitness and not even an acknowledgment of my many attempts to reach Crunch ownership. This is what Crunch Fitness thinks of its members. There was no attempt to make it right with the customer. Their only concern was pandering to the feelings of a disturbed female. What’s next? Defamation? This is how Crunch Fitness treats its customers.
