The building is very new and nice. Great place to hang out and read. Not a lot of print options for as big of a building as they have there. But it seemed like a great place to find some books and have small group meetings in the study rooms. Great grounds/park outside the library. The children's section was healthy and inviting it looked like.

I go to the Miamisburg branch of the Dayton library. They recently opened the new building which is nicer and you check yourself out. I have several library cards and if i put the same book or movie on hold at this library, Franklin, Middletowon, and Columbus ...this library will be the last to have it for you. i have literally been on hold forva year for a movie ... which is less than impressive. They even skipped me on the hold line. When i called they said certain branches only pass an item on no one at their branch is on the list.

Brand new and amazing. Besides the usual, much digital, meeting and performance spaces. Light, relaxing, comfortable. Very modern.

I went to this library looking for help with genealogical information. I was blown away by the help I received that resulted in my receiving an answer to a family question that had eluded me for 25 years. The genealogist followed up on her own and got me the answer by e mail. All the staff were very helpful and took personal time to get me information. The library itself is a beautiful new building and seems well equipped to meet the needs of anyone who is interested in gathering information on any topic. Local teachers should all be taking advantage of this facility for themselves and their students. There are more than adequate on street metered parking and local garages close by.

I visited the downtown Dayton Metro Library in the 1960s and even then it was worn. I went back in 2013 and it was even more bedraggled. The recent renovation is nothing short of spectacular! The space is 4 times what it was. There are meeting rooms in the spacious new facility. Book availability is threefold what it was. Free parking under the library. I am a big fan!
